Ylvie is pregnant after Tuki. The pups will be born around 16th Nov. 2010.
I'm not a friend of repeated matings! As I strongly believe that it's very important for a breed's gene pool to use as many different dogs for breeding as possible. But in this case, I'm going to break my own rules. Specially because our A-litter only was one puppy, so an overpopulation of Tuki X Ylvie Babies is not to be expected yet ;)
But first of all, our Anuka is such a great dog and I'd love to get more from this type. She has taken a shine on the Norwegian judge Espen Engh at the Word Dog Show Bratislava 2009 and got the highest rate and best commendations when ever she was shown! But also her temper is admirable, she's always nice and friendly. She finished the puppy class magna cum laude, because she's so docile and never afraid of anything. And she also started to do a bit Agility and is not behind the 7 Border Collies she's living with.
This mating is promising world class, for show as well as for sports and at home! You can learn everything about Ylvie and her achievements on her own page. Tuki won intermediate class at the World Dog Show in Stockholm ’08 under judge Christen Lang, who is the most important Lundehund expert in the world and finally he became World Winner 2009 in Bratislava. He's also Czech Champion,. Czech Junior Champion and Czech Junior Club Winner.
His sons from kennel Lonewolf C-litter are already following their daddy's footsteps: Cheveyo was awarded Junior World Winner '09 in Bratislava, Chaschuanka won BOB with concurrence every time in the US, is already American UKC Champion and UKC Grand-champion and also should be trained as a therapy dog and Cayuga went back to Norway the country of origin where he also was shown successfully.
Inbreeding of this combination is 8,13% on 10 generations.
