My Kennel Name

My kennel name “von Amon Sul” was recognized by the FCI in May 2006.

I was searching for a long time for the right name which fits to all my different breeds, but in the end I realized that there’s only one thing in the world I love as much as I love dogs: The Lord of the Rings!!!
So I choose “von Amon Sul”, which is a hill on which once a watch tower was placed. In the “Fellowship of the ring” there are only ruins left. It’s the place where Frodo was attackted by the Nazgul and wounded by the witch-king.

The place is also called Weathertop. Amon Sul is the Sindarin (the language of the elves) word for it and means "Hill of the Wind" from amon meaning "hill" and sul meaning "wind."
